Mardi Gras Buffalo

March 8, 2011t’s Fat Tuesday! Buffalo’s biggest party day of the year—the 16th Annual ARTVOICE Mardi Gras! Sponsored by Artvoice will be hosting the Buffalo Mardi Gras extravaganza on Tuesday, Mar. 8, beginning at 5 p.m. The celebration will include 35 clubs and bars located throughout historic Allentown, the Buffalo Entertainment District and the Elmwood Strip to create Buffalo’s own French Quarter. A motorcade of more than 30 floats will begin the festivities at Mister Goodbar located at 1110 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo N.Y.

The entire event is a fundraiser for The Give for Greatness campaign, which was organized to raise over one million dollars to fund 47 cultural organizations located throughout Erie County that have been deleted from the county budget. Five dollar bracelets will be sold as a one time entry fee into all participating venues.
